The Crime Desk:<\/strong> Interim Government’s Home Affairs Adviser has warned that if the law and order situation is attempted to deteriorate, the hands will be broken. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.<\/p>\n

He said this to reporters after exchanging views with the leaders of various local political and ethnic groups and security forces at Rangamati cantonment on Saturday (September 21).<\/p>\n

The advisor said law and order cannot be allowed to deteriorate in any way. Those who try to worsen the situation will not be exempt under any circumstances. Their hands will be broken.<\/p>\n

The home adviser also said that a high-powered inquiry committee will be formed and a fair investigation will be conducted into the incidents of conflict, violence, and loss of life in Rangamati and Khagrachari.<\/p>\n

In the same event, local government adviser Hasan Arif said that one issue that came up in the discussion is that a commission should be formed to investigate the incident in Chittagong Hill Tracts so that the real culprits can be brought to justice. He also said that no difference was seen here. There was one thing in everyone’s voice: they all wanted harmony. As a result, I hope Rangamati will shine as a beautiful and harmonious city in Bangladesh and the world.<\/p>\n
