In view of the application, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ali Haider ordered to send him to jail.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On September 4, the court granted his seven-day remand. On that day another former IGP, Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, was granted eight days remand in the case of the murder of grocery shopkeeper Abu Saeed in Mohammadpur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Businessman Abdul Wadud was shot dead by the police in Neelkhet area under Newmarket police station on the afternoon of July 19 during the anti-discrimination student movement.
