Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury. The adviser said this while talking to reporters at the secretariat on Monday (September 2).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Home Affairs adviser said that the current government is determined to establish people&#8217;s rights, good governance, and justice. Not only as a Home Advisor, but as a common citizen and an ex-serviceman, I want justice for the BDR killings. A full investigation and justice process into this murder will be launched soon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On February 25, 2009, there was a mutiny at Pilkhana, the headquarters of the Border Guard Force BDR (now Border Guard Bangladesh-BGB) in Dhaka. On that day, hundreds of members of BDR carried out brutal killings in Pilkhana. 57 army officers, including the then Director General of BDR, Major General Shakeel Ahmed, were killed in the rebellion, which lasted for about two days.
