Murder case against 14 UP chairman including league president"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Hathajari Correspondent:<\/strong> In Hathajari, a murder case has been registered against the chairman of 14 unions of the upazila, including the president of the North District Awami League and former chairman of the district council, MA Salam.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the night of August 31, a woman named Taslima Begum of Haji Tali Mosque in the West Dewan Nagar Sandwip Para area of Hathajari municipality filed the case. The matter of filing the case was confirmed by the OC of Hathajari police station. Moniruzzaman. In the case, North District Awami League President and former Zilla Parishad Chairman MA Salam, along with UP Chairman of 14 Unions of the Upazila, former Upazila Parishad Chairman, Municipal Administrator and Auxiliary Committee Member, Chittagong City Corporation Ex-Councillor, Upazila and Municipal Awami League, Chhatra League, Jubo League, and their organs. The names of 65 people, including the leaders and workers of the organization, were named as accused. Another 50\/60 people have been made anonymously accused.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the statement of the case, on the evening of August 5, the husband of the plaintiff, Taslima Begum, the rickshaw puller Mohammad Jamal Molla, was seriously injured in the firing of the named and unknown miscreants inside the street of the raw market at the Triveni intersection of the municipal area.
