The meeting of the Advisory Council (Cabinet) under the leadership of Muhammad Yunus is going on. The meeting of the advisory council started at 11 o&#8217;clock on Thursday (August 29) at the residence and office of the chief adviser, Yamuna.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier, advisers were seen entering the Yamuna from 10 am onwards. It is said that the meeting will continue till half past two in the afternoon. On August 27, the offices of five advisers, including the head of the interim government, were redistributed. Currently the chief advisor. Muhammad Yunus holds the responsibility of six ministries or departments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An interim government was formed to run the country in the context of the fall of the Awami League government on August 5 in the popular uprising led by the anti-discrimination student movement. On August 8, Nobel Peace Prize-winning economist Dr. Muhammad Yunus. President Md. Sahabuddin recited the oath to him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. 13 advisers took oaths after Yunus. They are Dr. Saleh Uddin Ahmed, Dr. Asif Nazrul, Adilur Rahman Khan, Hasan Arif, Tauhid Hossain, Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Md. Nahid Islam (student representative), Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan (student representative), Brigadier General (retired.) M Sakhawat Hussain, Farida Akhtar, Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain, Nurjahan Begum, and Sharmin Murshid. The next day, on August 9, the Cabinet Department issued a notification apportioning the offices of the Chief Advisor and other advisors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Later on August 11, advisers Supradeep Chakma and Bidhan Ranjan Roy took oaths, and on August 13, another adviser, Farooq-e-Azam, took oaths.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Last Friday (August 16) afternoon, four more advisers were sworn in. The new advisors are former secretary Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan, former cabinet secretary Ali Imam Majumder, economist Wahiduddin Mahmud, and former director general of Bangladesh Rifles, Lt. General (Retd.) Jahangir Alam.
