Sirajganj District Superintendent of Police Arifur Rahman Mondal confirmed this information on Tuesday morning (August 27).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Superintendent of Police also said that in the case of 15 police killings, including attack, vandalism, and arson at Enayetpur Police Station, President of Police Station Awami League Ahmed Mostafa Khan Bachchu, General Secretary Azgar Ali, Chairman of Khukni Union Parishad of Shahjadpur Upazila, and former President of Union Awami League Mulluk Chan, Bhangbari Union Parishad of Belkuchi Upazila. Chairman Zahurul Islam Bhuiyan&#8217;s name has been mentioned, and unknown five to six thousand people have been accused.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also said that members of the law and order force are working to quickly arrest the accused in the case.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the source of the complaint in the case, Ahmad Mostafa Khan Bachchu, the president of the Enayetpur Thana Awami League, demanded the release of an accused who was arrested on February 28. The police did not accept that claim. He was angry with the police for not accepting his illegal demands. Later, the police took a case against the accused. Later, 450 to 500 unidentified miscreants led by Bachchu surrounded the police station. At that time, he also demanded the removal of Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdur Razzak. Later, the accused started looking for an opportunity to harm the Enayetpur Police Station. Anti-discrimination students protested in front of Enayetpur police station on August 4. At this time, OC Abdur Razzak addressed the protestors with a hand mic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">OC Razzak said this police station belongs to the general public. You will not cause any damage to the police station. At these words, the students left. Later, five to six thousand miscreants led by accused No. 1 Ahmad Mostafa Khan Bachchu, including the accused named Ezahar, attacked the police station with indigenous weapons. The accused set fire to the police quarters and the residence of the OC. The policemen panicked after seeing the fire. The accused beat up Sub-Inspector (SI) Tahchenuzzaman, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Obaidur Rahman, Constable Ariful Azam, Rabiul Alam Shah, Hafizul Islam, Shaheen, and Riazul Islam and hacked them to death with sharp weapons in the police station compound. At one point, the accused entered the police station building to destroy it and kill the surviving policemen. The accused sensed their presence. They went there and beat and hacked them to death. At this time, woman constable Rehena Parveen was beaten, dragged, and molested.
