This information has been reported in a report of Indian news agency ANI on Saturday (August 24).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency has notified Congress of the potential sale of these weapons and provided the necessary certification.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the statement, the Government of India has requested procurement of various equipment, including AN\/SSQ High Altitude Anti-Submarine Warfare (HAASW) Sunobuoys and AN\/SSQ-62F HAASW Sunobuoys. The estimated price of these weapons is 52.8 million dollars. After that, the US Secretary of State approved the sale of these weapons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The statement added that the proposed arms sale would support US foreign policy and national security objectives by helping strengthen the US-India strategic relationship.
