He has been posted as Additional Commissioner (Crime) of DMP.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He was informed about the transfer in an order issued by the DMP headquarters on Wednesday (July 31). Additional Commissioner of Police Hon. Ashrafuzzaman is being assigned as the head of DB.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the same order, DMP Additional Commissioner of Police Dr. b. Mahid Uddin from Crime and Operations has been transferred to Logistics, Finance, and Procurement of DMP, and Additional Commissioner of Police Maha. Ashrafuzzaman has been transferred to DB from Logistics, Finance, and Procurement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On July 13, 2022, Haroon Or Rashid was appointed as the Chief of Dhaka Metropolitan Police. Before that, he was posted in the intelligence department as Joint Commissioner of Police in May 2021.
