Now it is the responsibility of law enforcement. I do not fear death. But I think about the people in my area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said that recently, the OC of my police station called me. I met him. When we met, he showed me a small message on his mobile.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Then I called a number in the message. Talk to me by calling. The one he talks to is a professional killer. That professional killer told me my home is in Sylhet. I know about you. I am not in favor of killing you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Suman also said, but my point is that even if the police knew the plan to kill me, why didn&#8217;t they take action? Why did I have to do GD? What do the police do? Don&#8217;t they have any responsibility? I&#8217;m not an ordinary person anymore. A Member of Parliament. Even after threatening to kill me, the police did not take any action. I had to do GD.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier on Saturday night, barrister Syed Syedul Haque Sumon, a lawyer of the Supreme Court and a member of the Jatiya Sangsad, made a general diary (GD) at the police station after knowing that &#8216;an unknown person has entered the field with a team to kill a powerful group&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Barrister Suman mentioned in the general diary of Sherbangla Nagar Police Station that while staying in Dhaka on June 27, the OC of Chunarughat Police Station in my constituency called me on WhatsApp from his official mobile phone and said that &#8216;an unknown strong group has come to kill you three days ago. He entered the field with a team of 4\u20135 people. You don&#8217;t go out at night; be careful.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When I asked the OC about the identity of the unidentified persons, he refused to reveal the identity of the person and advised me to be careful. After learning this, I am seriously insecure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Syed Syedul Haque Sumon is a lawyer for the Bangladesh Supreme Court. He was a prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal, a position he resigned from on November 13, 2012.
