This time the band filed a complaint against G-Series Music Label Company. They sent the complaint directly to the Anti-Corruption Commission.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the charge sheet of Titleless with the Chairman of the ACC, it is mentioned, &#8216;The music label company named G-Series illegally sold the songs of Titleless Band&#8217;s own and copyrighted songs like Hasimukh, Jaaji, Pakhi, Chachaghurdi, Bhalosha Megh and Cafeteria etc. to some foreign companies for huge amount of money. Grabbing As opposed to the money which is not paying any VAT and tax to the government. Due to such illegal and corrupt activities of G-Series, the true creators and owners of the songs are suffering financially without title and the government of Bangladesh is being deprived of revenue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ziaur Rahman Zia, founding member of the untitled band, said, &#8220;According to the law, the copyright of any art belongs to its creator. As such, all ownership of the band&#8217;s songs is already untitled and copyrighted in 2017. Our albums from the G-series were contractually distributed and legally expired by announcement. After that the Copyright Office canceled the copyright of G-Series. The copyright of the songs is given to us. In this situation we try to publish the songs on our digital platform YouTube channel. But they copyright and globally block the songs. Then they tried to vanish our channel by copyrighting some of our songs, which we feel is a threat to our band&#8217;s music. They are so influential, they are looting the profits from the songs as they see fit, regardless of the copyright office&#8217;s decision.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At this time, Zia also said that the artistes have to suffer these sufferings and corruption because no disciplinary action is taken from the copyright office. How can these corrupt companies be dealt with if they continue to do illegal business even after having copyright certificates, judgments and not being punished? How will artists get justice?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Currently, the lineup of the untitled band consists of Ziaur Rahman Zia (bassist and lyricist), Kazi Ahmad Shafin (drummer), Sheikh Ishtiaq (vocalist), Simon Chowdhury (keyboardist) and Dipu Sinha (guitarist).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Entertainment Desk: One of the most popular bands of the country is Untitled.
