Besides, the waters of several other important rivers are flowing parallel to and close to the boundary.\u00a0Barisal Water Development Board Deputy Assistant Engineer, Md. Tajul Islam<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Md. Tajul Islam said that due to Cyclone Remal, the water level of all the rivers in the tidal division has increased. As of 9 a.m. Monday, all rivers were flowing a few centimeters above the coastal line. Due to this, many areas in the lower part of the division have sunk.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the information of the Water Development Board, the water of the Kirtankhola river in Barisal is flowing above the limit of 38 cm; the water of Bishkhali in Jhalkathi district is above 65 cm; the water of the Surma-Meghna river in Bhola Daulatkhan upazila is 10.25 cm; and the water of the Surma and Meghna rivers in Tajumuddin upazila in Bhola is 10.52 cm. Above, Bhola Tentulia river water is flowing at 10.12 cm, Umedpur Kacha river water is at 10.54 cm, and Pirojpur Baleshwar river is flowing at 2.14 cm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tajul Islam said, &#8220;Even if the effect of Cyclone Remal is over, the amount of water that has increased in the rivers due to the tide will take a day or two to come down.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bashir Ahmed, in charge of the Barisal Divisional Meteorological Office, said, &#8220;Immediately after the declaration of emergency number 10, people have been asked to evacuate the river banks and unsafe places to safety.
