He is the General Secretary of the Upazila Awami League and a former Zilla Parishad member. The EC has taken this decision due to a violation of electoral conduct rules.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">EC Secretary Jahangir Alam gave this information at a press conference at the Agargaon election building in the capital on Sunday (May 26) afternoon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The EC secretary said that, in view of the complaint, a letter was sent to the chairman candidate seeking an explanation. Following this, Chairman candidate Abu Ahmed Chowdhury (the horse symbol) has appeared in the Chandanish Upazila election of Chittagong district. He replied as per the complaint clause. The commission also heard it. In the end, the commission decided to cancel his candidacy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Chandnaish, businessman Jasim Uddin Chowdhury (motorcycle), upazila Awami League organizing secretary Mohammad Ariful Islam Chowdhury (poet-pen), and Ahmad Hossain (pineapple) are candidates for the post of chairman. Among them, Mohammad Ariful Islam Chowdhury (Doat-Kalam), the organizing secretary of the Upazila Awami League, announced his withdrawal from the election on May 23.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abu Ahmed Chowdhury said in this regard, there is nothing to be disappointed. He will appeal to the High Court in this regard. He said that good news would come from the High Court and requested that his leaders and workers continue working in the field. He asked not to mislead anyone about the matter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this regard, some parties have boycotted the election due to their failure to protect the constitutional powers of the Election Commission in the Sixth Upazila Parishad elections. The general public said that they refrained from voting at the center due to the cost of unscrupulous caste votes in the previous parliamentary elections. Therefore, as eligible candidates do not participate in the election, the mood of the election cannot be maintained among the voters. They do not think that this election has any credibility with the general public in this uncertain vote war between fear and money sharing. A review of the statement of assets in the affidavit of the candidates who came to participate in the election shows that they have not come to take responsibility for the general public.
