The Ministry of Education released a new policy on Wednesday regarding the admission of those who have passed the SSC and equivalent exams. It also specifies the amount of fees that educational institutions and education boards can collect from students. The Ministry of Education has released the admission policy for Class 11 by fixing the admission fee and session charge for Bengali and English in MPO-affiliated colleges at 3 thousand taka in Chittagong city, 2 thousand taka in the district, and 1500 taka in the upazila or Mofswal. According to the policy, in non-MPO or partial MPO colleges, 5 thousand taka in the Bengali version, 6 thousand taka in the English version, 3 thousand taka at the district level, 4 thousand taka in the English version, 2500 taka in the Bengali version, and 3 thousand taka in the English version at the upazila level are fixed. has been While the Board of Education confirms the admission of the students, students are charged Rs 142 for the Education Registration Fee, Rs 50 for the Sports Fee, Rs 15 for the Rover\/Ranger Fee, Rs 16 for the Red Crescent Fee, Rs 7 for the Science and Technology Fee, and Rs 5 for the BNCC Fee. Apart from this, students of other years, including those who have passed from an open university, can also apply manually to the board for admission. Students who have passed an equivalent examination from a foreign board or a similar institution will be considered eligible for admission after the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education determines the standard of its certificate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Students who have passed from the Science Group can apply to any of the Science, Humanities, and Business Education groups; candidates passed from the Humanities Group can apply to any of the Humanities and Business Education groups; and students passed from the Business Education Group can apply to any of the Business Education and Humanities groups. And students passed from any group (Science, Humanities, and Business Education)\u2014Islamic Education, Domestic Science, and any of the music groups; Students passed in the science group from the Madrasa Education Board can apply to any of the science, humanities, and business education groups; and students passed from the general and mujabbid mahir groups can apply to any one except the science group.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Students who have passed the SSC (vocational) and Dakhil (vocational) examinations from the Technical Education Board can apply for admission in any group of the General Education Board.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Procedure to be followed in the selection of candidates: No selection or admission test will be conducted for admission. Admission will be based on the result of the student&#8217;s SSC or equivalent examination only. Online applications can be made from May 26 to June 11. Those who have applied for rechecking of SSC or equivalent results should apply within this period if their results change. On June 12 and 13, applications will be scrutinized and objections disposed of. Online services and call centers will be closed from June 14 to June 18 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. The results of the selected students in the first stage will be declared on June 23 at 8 p.m. After the release of the result, the students have to confirm the selection until June 29th at 8 p.m. If the selection is not confirmed, their application and admission result will be cancelled. They have to apply again after paying the fee. The second-phase admission application can be made from June 30 to July 2 until 8 p.m. The results of the second-stage application will be declared on July 4 at 8 p.m. 5th July to 8th July to 8pm to confirm the selection of the second phase candidates. The third-stage application can be made from July 9 to July 10 until 8 p.m. The third phase result will be declared on July 12. On July 13th and 14th, between 8 p.m., the electors must confirm the election. Admission must be completed between July 15 and July 25. HSC first-year classes will start on July 30.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the case of admission to colleges and equivalent institutions, 93 percent of seats in the respective colleges and equivalent institutions will be open to all, which will be selected on the basis of merit. A total quota of 2 percent, including 1 percent for the children of the officers-employees working in the Ministry of Education and 1 percent for the children of the officers-employees working in the subordinate departments-organizations, will be reserved for admission to the educational institutions of metropolitan, divisional, and district headquarters, subject to having the minimum qualification. If the number of applicants is higher, they will get admission on the basis of merit among themselves.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5 percent of the total seats will be reserved for children of freedom fighters. If the candidate is not found in the above quota, the seat will not be effective. The certificate issued by the Ministry of Liberation War must be submitted for the identification of the children of freedom fighters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Only those students who have passed the SSC examination as having special needs can apply for manual admission to the respective board. Children of expatriates, students passed out from BKSP, and students awarded for outstanding contributions at the departmental or national level in the field of sports and culture can apply manually to the board for admission.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Merit will be decided on the basis of aggregate marks in cases of equal GPA. In the case of the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board, Bangladesh Technical Education Board, and Bangladesh Open University, the grade points and marks obtained should be calculated equally. Moreover, the grade points and marks obtained for different years should be calculated equally. For admission to the Science Group, marks obtained in General Mathematics and Higher Mathematics\/Biology shall be taken into consideration for determining the merit rank of those obtaining equal aggregate marks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If the difficulty arising in the selection of candidates is not resolved, the marks obtained in English, Physical Science, and Chemistry should be taken into consideration successively. In the case of the humanities and business education groups, the marks obtained in English, mathematics, and Bengali subjects should be taken into consideration in order to settle the issue of equal total marks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If the GPA is the same in the admission of candidates from one group to another, then the merit order will be decided on the basis of the total marks obtained. In this case, if the complications arising in the selection of candidates are not resolved, the marks obtained in English, mathematics, and Bengali subjects should be taken into consideration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Notwithstanding anything contained in this policy, in the case of schools and colleges\/equivalent institutions, students who have passed out of their own institution will be given priority admission in their respective groups (science, humanities, and business education), subject to the eligibility criteria prescribed by the institution. The concerned college authorities may prescribe minimum qualifications for admission to any college or equivalent institution. Colleges and equivalent institutions are required to publish all information regarding their admissions on the website and notice board.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All colleges, higher secondary institutions, and equivalent institutions will admit students according to the list of students selected for admission by the Ministry and Board of Education in their respective institutions and according to the time. No institution, ministry, or board can conduct admission activities beyond the scheduled date.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Online Admission: All the educational institutions approved by the Board of Education must apply online for admission to Class XI. Website address for application: In the case of an online application, subject to a deposit of Tk 150, a minimum 5 and a maximum 10 colleges or equivalent institutions can apply on the basis of preference. Out of the number of colleges a student applies to, his or her placement in only one college will be decided on the basis of the student&#8217;s merit, quota, and preference.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The policy states that MPO-affiliated institutions cannot accept development fees under any circumstances. However, the concerned authority may change the session charges and admission fees from time to time, subject to the approval of the controlling ministry or department. In the case of non-MPO or partial-MPO educational institutions, the development fee, session charge, and admission fee shall be accepted as per the policy. Government colleges will collect the required fees as per the government circular. For the admission of poor, meritorious, and special needs students, the concerned educational institutions will take the necessary steps to waive the mentioned fee as far as possible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Before the admission process, in the case of admission to a private college, the list of monthly salaries and all other expenses, along with the admission fee, should be displayed on the notice board and website of the respective college. No money in excess of the sanctioned fees shall be accepted from any student, and all sanctioned fees shall be accepted by providing a proper receipt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Change of Colleges and Equivalent Institutions: No student admitted in Class XI can be issued a pass without the prior permission of the concerned Board of Education. Nor can admission be made on clearance issued by the educational institution without the prior permission of the Board.
