However, India rejected China&#8217;s move. At the same time, New Delhi claims that the bordering state of Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India. Arunachal Pradesh is called Zhangnan in China.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Beijing, Arunachal Pradesh is a part of southern Tibet. India has always rejected this demand from China. Beijing gave Chinese names to 11 places in Arunachal almost identically a year ago. At that time, the tension between the two eternally hostile neighboring countries increased.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In December 2022, the armies of the two nuclear-armed neighbors clashed over the disputed border of the state. Later, the tension was eased by the meetings of the top-level officials of the military forces of both countries and diplomatic activities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, there are still frequent clashes between the armies of these two dominant Asian countries in the Arunachal border area. The conflict has been going on since a bloody border clash between Indian and Chinese troops in 2020.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a statement last Saturday, China said, according to the State Council&#8217;s regulations on the management of place names, about 30 places in southern Tibet have been given standardized names. After that, on Tuesday, the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Randhir Jaiswal, said that reality does not change just by naming Mongara. Arunachal Pradesh is, and will always be, an integral part of India.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier on Monday, India&#8217;s External Affairs Minister Subramaniam Jaishankar told reporters that changing the name would not do any good. At that time, China opposed the activities of the Indian Prime Minister in the region. Washington says it recognizes Arunachal Pradesh as Indian territory.
