Those who have never eaten sehri before, have not kept fast, have not had iftar, and have not had the opportunity to pray. They are doing everything now, at the return of time. Last year, during the fast, the family was orthodox. But seven months ago, they voluntarily converted after being attracted to Islam. Adopting Islam, they are fasting this year, performing regular prayers in accordance with religious rules. The family members said that there is no problem with observing the fast, even though they have not experienced fasting before.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is known that Kanu Das (59), of the Bajudanga area near Daulatpur Upazila Sadar, along with his family members, left traditional religion and embraced Islam through an affidavit in the court of the Kushtia Chief Judicial Magistrate on August 7 last year. Kanu Das&#8217;s name was changed to a new name. The names of Abdur Rahman and his wife, Rani Das, were deleted. Amena Khatun. Their eldest son, Navkumar Das, changed his name to Md. Ibrahim, and his wife&#8217;s name was deleted. Sarah Khatun is the eldest grandson of Apurba Kumar Das. Yusuf is the youngest grandson of Aurobindo Kumar Das. Yakub is kept.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All the family members of Kanu Das spontaneously accepted Islam by inviting Imam Mohammad Hossain of Daulatpur Thana Bazar Jame Masjid to his house and reciting the Kalima from him. As the news of the entire family converting to Islam came out in various media at that time, there was quite a stir all over the country. The new Muslim family was blessed with the prayers and love of Muslims.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On April 20, 2022, Prem Kumar Das, the younger son of that family, converted to Islam alone. He was named Abdullah Al Saeed through an affidavit after converting to Islam after reciting the Kalima from an imam in Nawabganj, capital Dhaka. He completed a diploma in engineering from Rajshahi Polytechnical Institute. I am currently studying in a madrasa in the Allardarga industrial area of Upazila.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The eldest son of the family converted to self-motivation. Ibrahim said they are not facing any problems in observing the first fast of life. However, he expressed hope that even if it is a little difficult to pray to Tarawi for a long time, he will gradually get used to it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ibrahim said six members of the family, including parents, wife, son, and younger brother, are observing fast and offering five times prayer. Although my younger son sometimes comes to pray in the mosque, he is not old enough to fast. When he is old enough, I will encourage him to pray and fast according to the religious rules along with his studies. After a whole day of fasting, there is a different sense of calmness when the whole family sits together and breaks the fast. Which is really nice. InshaAllah, we will be very happy on the first Eid of our lives after fasting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abdur Rahman, the head of the neo-Muslim family, said, Not influenced by anyone, we all accepted Islam, the religion of peace, spontaneously from a place of self-realization by being attracted to the rules of Islam. A little boy converted a couple of years ago, knowing about Islam, but we do not have the final decision to accept this religion. After that, we are observing the first fast of life this year by adopting the Islam religion and following religious and legal regulations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abdur Rahman said that among the seven members of the family, all except his 7-year-old grandson are fasting. They do not have any problem observing fast, despite not having the habit. Apart from this, all the family members have been offering prayers regularly since accepting Islam.
