At that time, 1 iron knife, 2 folding knives, and 1 steel razor were recovered from them.<\/p>\n<p>RAB-7 (Chittagong) informed us of this information in a press release on Monday (February 18).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The arrested are Arif Hossain (30), son of Mustafa Kamal of Ahmed Nagar area of Shahrasti upazila of Chandpur; Sagar (24) son of Kabir Hossain of Enatali area of Hajiganj upazila; and Shibpur area of Lakhai police station of Habiganj. Yunus&#8217;s son, Sumon (30), works at the works at the Chagalnaya police station in Feni. Sultan&#8217;s son Kamrul (24) and Yashin Mia (19), son of Abdul Nabi of Amin Colony, Chittagong.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to RAB, they were arrested while preparing for robbery in the Amin Colony Jute Mill area of Bayezid Bostami Police Station in Chittagong City. During initial interrogation, the arrested persons said that, armed with indigenous weapons, they assembled at the Amin Colony Jute Mill area for the purpose of robbery. They, along with Bayezid Bostami, had been extorting and robbing various types of vehicles, including CNG and autorickshaws,\u00a0 in different areas of Chittagong City for a long time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">RAB also said that they engage in extortion, fight among themselves, beat up and threaten to kill common teenagers, display indigenous weapons, and consume drugs on roads, bus stands, and different lanes and roads.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The RAB said in a circular that a total of nine cases of theft, dacoity, robbery, and the Narcotics Control Act have been registered against the arrested in Chittagong&#8217;s Panchlaish, Bayezid Bostami, and Chandpur&#8217;s Shahrasti police stations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>City Reporter: RAB arrested five members of the Kishore gang while preparing a robbery in the Bayezid area of Chittagong.
