The chairman said that these buses will provide service along with the long-distance buses. Tajul Islam<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He informed me about this decision in the discussion meeting organized at the Motijheel BRTC building on Monday (March 18).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The chairman of BRTC said we had a meeting last week on the occasion of Eid. It has been decided that we have 600 buses in Dhaka city. The remaining 550 buses will be added to the Eid service by keeping 50 from here. Apart from this, the rest of our long-distance buses will run regularly. This decision has been taken as the Eid holiday is long.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When asked about the Eid plan, he said we would give it in a few days in the form of a public notice in the newspaper. Only 34 of our fleet vehicles are leased. We no longer lease cars. It will be brought down to a zero quota.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tajul Islam said that out of 1,825 buses in 2020, 885 were on route. In 2021, out of 1,762, 1,006 were unrouted.
