Later, he was admitted to the Naikxyongchari Upazila Health Complex after receiving first aid at Jamchari BOP.<\/p>\n<p>The incident took place on Monday (March 11) around 5 p.m. in Ward No. 8 of Naikshyongchari Sadar Union.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Injured Chhaber Ahmed Naikxyongchari is a member of Ward No. 8 of the Sadar Union.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Injured Chhaber Ahmed said that countless mortar and artillery bomb blasts occurred in Myanmar across the Jangchari border of Ward No. 8 of the Naikxyangchari Sadar Union. With the sound of these shots, it was as if an earthquake was being created.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A member of the UP said that the people of the area have been panicked by the sound of continuous gunfire and mortar shells since Sunday (March 10) night.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier, 29 members of the Border Guard Police (BGP) took refuge in Bangladesh on Monday afternoon due to the ongoing conflict in Myanmar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A BGB official said that they were first kept under the Jamchari BOP BGB camp. Later, they were disarmed and brought to 11 BGB battalion headquarters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chairman of the Naikshyongchari Sadar Union. Nurul Abshar Emon said that Chhaber Ahmed, a member of the UP Ward, was injured in Myanmar&#8217;s shelling. He is being treated at the Naikshyongchari Upazila Health Complex.<\/p>\n<p>It is to be noted that, due to the ongoing conflict in Myanmar&#8217;s Rakhine state, 330 members of the country&#8217;s border guards had taken shelter in Bangladesh earlier.
