The arrested are Obaidul Haque, alias Obaidul Karim, a resident of the Patia police station area of the district, and Md. Salim, a resident of the Panchlaish police station area of CMP..<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Thursday (March 7), the OC of Halishahar police station confirmed the matter. Kaiser Hamid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is known that on January 26, Salim took a young woman from Halishahar to the cosmopolitan residential area of Panchlaish. The young woman was gang-raped there.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Then the victim&#8217;s brother, Bibi Rahima Akhtar, filed a statement as plaintiff. Later, with the help of information technology, the police arrested the fugitive accused, Obaidul Haque, alias Obaidul Karim, from the Baralia area under the Patia police station. Later, on the basis of the information given by him, the other accused involved in the case conducted a raid in the Sholshahar area of the Panchlaish police station. Salim was arrested.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Halishahar police station. Qaiser Hamid said that they were arrested early yesterday morning. Accused Karim lured the victim into a love trap and raped her in the cosmopolitan residential area of another accused, Selim.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also said that they tortured him very inhumanely. At one stage, the victim fell to the lap of death. There may be others involved in this heinous act. But we could not identify. Our investigation continues.
