Dhaka Bureau:<\/strong> Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has paid deep respect by placing a wreath at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of the historic March 7. The Prime Minister paid tribute to the great leader by placing flowers on the portrait of Bangabandhu at 32 Dhanmondi on Thursday (March 7) at 7:00 a.m. The Prime Minister stood there silently for a while as a mark of respect to the greatest Bengali of all time and the architect of freedom.<\/p>\n

After first paying homage as the Prime Minister, the party president paid homage on behalf of the party, along with the senior leaders of the party. Later, people from various professions, including the Krishak League, Chhatra League, Jubo League, Volunteer League, allied and fraternal organizations, and social and cultural organizations, paid tribute to the portrait of Bangabandhu.<\/p>\n

Historical March 7 is a unique day of glory written in golden letters in the history of Bangladesh’s freedom struggle and liberation war. On this day of the fire of 1971, the poet of the great poetry of Bangladesh’s independence recited his immortal poem. At the sound of his thunderous voice, the declaration of independence resounded in the sky and air of Bengal, and at the tip of his finger, the turbulent sea of people roared. The red-green flag of Bangladesh, with its map, was fluttering in the spring breeze with the enthusiasm of millions of people shouting slogans. A million thunderous fists of oaths were raised.<\/p>\n

Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman thundered in the stormy crowd at the historic race course ground at that time, “This time’s struggle is our liberation struggle; this time’s struggle is a freedom struggle.”<\/p>\n
