On Tuesday (March 5), Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan proposed the passage of the bill in the National Assembly. Speaker before this. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury sent the bill to the public opinion scrutiny committee and settled the amendment proposals. The bill was tabled in Parliament on February 29.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the bill, extortion, obstruction of traffic, damage to vehicles, destruction of immovable and immovable property, robbery, banditry, terror, and anarchy, buying, selling, accepting, or accepting tenders have the purpose of playing a fast and effective role in improving the law and order situation of the country. Enactment and promulgation of the Law and Order Offenses (Speedy Trial) Act, 2002 (Act No. 11 of 2002) with a view to further improving the overall law and order situation in the country by ensuring speedy trial of serious offenses such as forcible obstruction or obstruction, intimidation, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a statement containing the purpose and reasons of the bill, the minister said that in order to keep the overall law and order situation of the country normal and for further improvement, it is necessary to make this law a permanent law without extending it again and again at the end of the period. In such a situation, with a view to playing a quick and effective role in controlling the law and order situation in the country and to further improve the overall law and order situation by ensuring speedy trial of various types of serious crimes, the Bill titled &#8216;Law and Order Disturbing Offenses (Speedy Trial) (Amendment) Act, 2024&#8217; is a national bill brought to Parliament.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Before the passage of the bill, members of the opposition party took part in the discussion and called it a black law.
