The price of some product is increasing every day. Due to such unbridled price increase, people’s living conditions have been affected. The Awami League government today has taken Bangladesh to such a position that people cannot find a way to survive. They cannot even buy the minimum food they need to survive. Today Saturday (November 19) he said these things in a statement given to the media protesting against the abnormal increase in the prices of every commodity including rice, dal, flour and oil.<\/p>\n He said that the government has made the people of the country poor. People are not safe. Every time the Awami League government has come to power, they have shattered people’s dreams. At the crossroads of democracy that introduced one-party rule. The only reason for the increase in the prices of daily necessities is the corruption of Awami League ministers and leaders. Because of the Awami Syndicate, the country is under the grip of famine today.<\/p>\n He also said, ‘Awami government has created the biggest crisis of civilization in this century. They are using primitive violence as a political tool to retain power. The people of the country are not eating, and the government is talking about various kinds of nonsense including development. But the reality is that people are living day by day with half food. Not only the lower and middle class people but also government and private officials are standing in the line of TCB. It means not only the shadow of famine, but the famine has begun. The government has no capacity to control this situation. The government is motivated by the ideology of looting and corruption. The government will not be spared from the anger of the people due to the increase in commodity prices.<\/p>\n Abul Hashem Bakkar commented that the prices of goods are being increased by syndicating the market and said, “The current unelected government does not care about the people. Traders are giving what they demand. The streets are crowded with TCB queues, as people want to get something at a lower price. After 2\/3 hours there is nothing left, people are returning home empty handed. Today syndicate mafias are controlling everywhere.’<\/p>\n He said, “A few days ago, the Minister of Commerce said that ‘the government has nothing to do about the increase in the price of goods’.” It can be understood from his statement that Awami League is not running the country, invisible forces are running the country. Who runs the country when the minister has nothing to do? The Commerce Minister’s statement is nothing but a strong justification for corruption. This is the minister’s cruel joke on unemployed, half-starved, starving people.<\/p>\n He said, “The current government is sitting in power by forcing people’s throats. Anyone who criticizes the government is prosecuted. This government is a litigious government. They unjustly imprisoned Begum Khaleda Zia, who is seriously ill, under false charges. As long as this litigious government is not removed, the oppression of the people of this country will not end. Therefore, to control the price of goods and bring back democracy, this government must be overthrown.
