Their hope is that Gazipur Metropolitan Awami League will be more dynamic through this conference a year before the national elections. The leaders and activists present on Saturday (November 19) said these things.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The mood of the festival is seen among the grassroots leaders and activists. There is great enthusiasm among the activists. The triennial conference of Gazipur Metropolitan Awami League will start at 1 pm in the big field of historic Bhawal Rajbari of Joydevpur. Meanwhile, the leaders and activists have started coming to the conference venue. A beautiful and attractive stage is made in the shape of a boat. A huge pandal has been made across the grounds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All preparations have already been completed by the party to make the conference successful and worthwhile. From Tongi in the metropolis to Gazipur Bhawal Rajbari Ground, roads, alleys and streets have been given a new makeover in the promotion campaign of the conference. As soon as you leave the house, you will see huge billboards, banners, festoons and beautiful arches with pictures of leaders and workers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">General Secretary of Awami League and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader will attend the conference as the chief guest. The conference will be inaugurated by Awami League presidium member Lieut. Colonel (Retd.) Muhammad Farooq Khan MP.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Awami League presidium member Advocate Kamrul Islam MP, Agriculture Minister Dr. will be present as special guests. Md. Abdur Razzak and the party&#8217;s joint general secretary and education minister Dr. Deepu Moni. Apart from this, Awami League&#8217;s organizing secretary Mirza Azam will be present as the main speaker.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Minister of Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque, State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell, Awami League Publicity and Publication Secretary Dr. Abdus Sobhan Golap, Legal Secretary Advocate Najibullah Hiru, Freedom Fighters Secretary Advocate Mrinal Kanti Das, Women Affairs Secretary Meher Afroz Chumki, Forest and Environment Secretary Delwar Hossain, Member Advocate ABM Riazul Kabir Kauchar, Anwar Hossain, Sahabuddin Farazi and Iqbal Hossain Apu, Simin Hossain Rimi , Gazipur District Awami League General Secretary Muhammad Iqbal Hossain Sabuj, Shamsun Nahar Bhuiyan, Professor Rumana Ali Tusi etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Incidentally, Gazipur City Corporation was established in 2013. Two years later, according to the central decision of the party, a committee was formed with Azmat Ullah Khan as the president and Jahangir Alam as the general secretary without a conference.
