At that time, several police teams conducted a special operation there and arrested more than half a hundred leaders and activists of Jamaat-Shibir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Friday (November 18) evening, Savar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Deepak Chandra Saha confirmed the arrest of Jamaat-Shibir leaders. However, he said that the number of arrests and detailed information will be given later.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A police official who did not wish to be named said that in the afternoon Jamaat and Chhatra Shibir secretly organized the annual Rukon conference inside Dhaka Garden City Ikra Housing Limited. They came here from Mohammadpur West Police Station in Dhaka Metropolitan North. Based on secret information, several teams of police conduct special operations there. At this time, more than 60 activists were arrested. The number of arrests will be sixty plus.
