News of PTI.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio made the remarks on Wednesday (January 26) after the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Isaac Muivah (NSCN-IM), one of the most important political and separatist organizations in the northeastern Indian state of Nagaland, opposed the fencing of the India-Myanmar border.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">He said that before fencing the border, the Center should find a solution, keeping all parties in mind.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">When reporters asked about the state&#8217;s position on the issue, Rio said the government should consult with the people. If necessary, we have to formulate a formula on how to solve the problem for the people and prevent encroachment. Because Nagaland is on the border with Myanmar and there are Nagas on both sides,.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Rio, a BJP ally, said many people live in one part of India, but their land is on the other side.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Union Home Minister Amit Shah said last week that the government will stop free movement of people along the Indo-Myanmar border and completely fence the border to make it as secure as the Bangladesh border.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Deputy CM Y Paton said on Monday that the Nagaland government would hold meetings with other northeastern states that share a border with Myanmar.
