Dhaka Bureau:<\/strong> The Appellate Division has ordered the initiation of the recruitment process for 86 driver MLS posts in Barapukuria Coal Mine, which were closed after the 2009 circular.<\/p>\n

On Thursday (January 25), a 5-member Appellate Division headed by the Chief Justice dismissed the Barapukuria Coal Mine Authority’s review.<\/p>\n

In 2018, the High Court ordered the appointment of 86 people according to merit. Today, the court also expressed its displeasure as to why the judgment of the judge was not implemented.<\/p>\n

Senior lawyer Advocate Shah Manjurul Haque, who heard the petition in court, said that in 2009, the Barapukuria Coal Mine Authority issued a circular for the appointment of 86 people for the post of driver, MLS. Job seekers apply after the circular. At some point, the recruitment process stopped. The aspirants came to the High Court challenging the decision to stop the process.<\/p>\n

After hearing the writ, the High Court ordered to start the recruitment process for 86 people in 2016. Barapukuria authorities appealed to the Appellate Division against this court order. After hearing the application, the Appellate Division upheld the order of the High Court. Barapukuria authorities reviewed this decision of the Appellate Division.
