The government has already taken various steps and is working on strategies to address these challenges. The Ministry of Commerce is working tirelessly to sign Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and Preferential Trade Agreements (PTAs) with various countries and regional cooperation organizations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He appealed to the Chinese government to continue the duty-free benefits of Bangladeshi products even after the LDC graduation to continue the progress of Bangladesh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At that time, Chinese ambassador Yao Wen said that China is interested in making a free trade agreement with Bangladesh. If this agreement is executed, Chinese investment in Bangladesh will increase in addition to the expansion of trade between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ahsanul Islam said that jute and leather is an emerging and promising sector of the country. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed to take special measures for the development of these two sectors. Ministry of Commerce has taken special measures for the development of jute and leather industry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The State Minister for Commerce said that apart from more than one crore animal skins on the day of Eid-ul-Azha, a lot of animal skins are collected throughout the year. Due to insufficient logistic support, they cannot be processed quickly. As a result, it is destroyed. Mentioning that the Bangladesh government has established a special economic zone for the leather industry to promote the leather sector, he urged the Chinese government to provide logistical support to Bangladesh and invest in this sector for the development of the leather industry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The state minister said that the government is providing all kinds of support in the production of jute and jute products. By improving the internal market management, initiatives have been taken to increase the export of jute products to various countries including Europe. Jute products have been declared as the &#8216;Product of the Year&#8217; 2023. Jute is traditionally associated with indigenous culture. All products made from jute are eco-friendly and useful.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said that besides Bangladeshi mangoes, jackfruits and guavas, there is a demand for quality fresh food, shrimps, crabs and Ilish fish in China and requested to export these products more. He also called for the export of other agricultural products and pharmaceuticals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ahsanul Islam said that after the Corona crisis and the Russia-Ukraine war, the Israel-Palestine war is disrupting the global supply of goods. As a result, the price of the product has increased. All countries of the world are trying their best to control commodity prices.
