After reaching Guwahati airport, it was diverted again towards Bangladesh due to fog.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The incident took place on Saturday (January 13) around 4 a.m. Indian time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The IndiGo authorities said in a statement that this happened due to adverse weather conditions. It said that IndiGo flight 6E5319 from Mumbai to Guwahati was diverted to Dhaka due to adverse weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Suraj Singh Tagore, former president of the Mumbai Youth Congress, wrote, I was going to Guwahati from Mumbai. The flight could not land in Guwahati due to dense fog. Now all passengers are staying in Bangladesh without a passport. We are sitting inside the plane.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">It may be noted that according to flight tracking website FlightRadar24, the flight was scheduled to depart at 8:20 PM on Friday and reach Guwahati at 11:10 PM. However, the flight left Mumbai for Guwahati three hours late, at around 11:20 PM.
