Now the prequel to the movie is going to be made. This prequel to the movie &#8216;Kantara&#8217; is named &#8216;Kantara Legend: Chapter One&#8217;. Rishabh Shetty&#8217;s first look at the movie produced by Hombel Films has received a great response. Meanwhile, 25 thousand people have applied to act in the movie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">According to the New Indian Express, the casting of the movie has not been finalized yet. Director Rishabh Shetty made a post on social media about the casting. It said to look for actors (male) aged 30\u201360 and actresses (female) aged 18\u201360. In view of that, the manufacturer received 25,000 applications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">In this regard, director Rishabh Shetty said, &#8216;We have received 25 thousand applications from different parts of the country (with theater backgrounds). A team of 10 people is selecting these applications. It will take approximately one week to pick. We will shortlist those who are genuinely interested, and I will audition them later. However, finalizing new prospects from such a large number of applications is challenging.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The artists selected from here will play various roles in the movie &#8216;Kantara Legend: Chapter One&#8217;. Apart from that, the central female character of the movie has not yet been finalized.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The word &#8216;Kantara&#8217; means deep forest. The story of the movie is based on the local village deity &#8216;Bhuta&#8217;. The director has shown that in the first part for three different periods. Apart from directing, Rishabh Shetty also wrote the screenplay and acted in the movie &#8216;Kantara&#8217;. Rishabh will also write the screenplay, direct, and act in the movie &#8216;Kantara 2&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Kantara&#8217; was originally made in Kannada. It was later dubbed in six more languages. Only 16 crore rupees were spent on construction then; in all, the budget figure was about 35 crores.
