After traveling to 27 states of his country, Rohan Agarwal, a young man from Nagpur, Maharashtra, visited several districts of Bangladesh and came to Chandpur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This 20-year-old youth has met with various people of the administration including the mayor in Chandpur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On August 24, 2020, Rohan&#8217;s walk started from the banks of the Ganga in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. The Indian youth who started the journey 810 days ago has covered about 15 thousand kilometers so far. Among them, after traveling to 27 states of India through Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Karnataka, Kerala and Goa, he crossed the Bilonia border in Feni and entered Bangladesh on October 8. young man<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Then he visited Chittagong Hill Tracts and came to Chandpur on November 10. Then Rohan had a courtesy meeting with the Deputy Commissioner, Municipal Mayor and Chandpur Press Club journalists. Besides, Rohan gave awareness speech in various educational institutions of Chandpur to explain the dangers of plastic to the students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rohan Agarwal said, this world is not only for human habitation. Animals and plants too. So you must be aware of the environment. It is the responsibility of all people. Plastic is destroying the balance of the environment. This is my passenger to avoid plastic. So I came to Bangladesh from India.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chandpur Municipal Mayor Zillur Rahman Jewel said, after knowing the reason of the Indian youth named Rohan coming to Chandpur, I have arranged for his stay and food. He will have our full support in such a noble undertaking at such a young age.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hajiganj Upazila Chhatra League General Secretary Mehdi Hasan Rabbi said that Rohan Agarwal left his house about 800 days ago with the dream of protecting the environment by preventing plastic pollution. The destination of Rohan&#8217;s journey is Oymyakon in Siberia, the country with the coldest temperature in the world. On the way, he is interacting with students in various schools, colleges and universities about environmental awareness and the dangers of plastic.
