Besides, Jamaat-e-Islami has also provided a separate 48-hour blockade program.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">BNP&#8217;s partners in this simultaneous movement, Democracy Forum, 12-Party Alliance, Jatiyatabadi Samana Jota, Democratic Left Unity, LDP, Labor Party, and other like-minded parties, have also said that they will carry out this 48-hour blockade program separately.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">In a virtual press conference yesterday, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, the senior joint secretary general of the party, called for the implementation of this program and said that the democracy-loving people of Bangladesh are demanding the 1-point demand for the restoration of democracy, the trial of the murder of the killed comrades, the proper treatment of the injured, the release of thousands of arrested leaders and activists across the country, and the demand for an end to harassment. We call for a 48-hour continuous total blockade across the country from 6 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Friday.
