International Desk:<\/strong> Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan called Israel a “terrorist state” for its aggression in Gaza. In a speech to the Turkish parliament on Wednesday, he said Israel is a terrorist state, committing war crimes and violating international law in Gaza. Reuters<\/p>\n

Turkey has withdrawn its ambassador from Israel after the start of the aggression in Gaza. However, Erdo\u011fan is not willing to cut ties with the country. Turkey claims that it is conducting diplomatic efforts to stop Israeli aggression. Israel has also said that its relations with Turkey are intact.<\/p>\n

In his speech, Erdogan reiterated that the Palestinian armed group Hamas is not a terrorist organization. Hamas is the political party elected by the Palestinians. Erdogan called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to declare whether Israel has nuclear bombs. The Turkish president described Netanyahu as a “failed person who has no chance of success” as prime minister.<\/p>\n

Today marks the 40th day of Israeli aggression against the Palestinians in Gaza. According to the latest information provided by the Palestinian Authority, 11,320 Palestinians have been killed so far. About 7,800 of them are women and children. And more than 29,200 people were injured in this attack. Thousands of buildings, including hospitals, mosques, and churches, have been damaged or destroyed in the Gaza Strip by Israeli attacks. According to the Israeli government, 1,200 people have been killed in Israel by Hamas attacks.
