On Wednesday (November 15), around 10:30 a.m., the spokesperson and secretary of the Election Commission said Jahangir Alam gave this information to reporters at his office in the election building.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">He also said that CEC Kazi Habibul Awal will address the nation at 7 p.m. He will announce the schedule of the 12th National Assembly elections there.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Earlier, EC Secretary Md. Jahangir Alam told reporters, I have already said that the schedule will be announced in the first half of November. In response to the question of when the elections will be held, the EC Secretary said that the CEC has already announced that the 12th national elections will be held in the first half of next January.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile, like-minded parties, including the BNP, are going on strikes, blockades, and burning cars across the country to demand the resignation of the current government and elections under a neutral electoral government. If the schedule is announced without any political agreement, a few small parties have given the EC a siege program.
