Strict security arrangements have been made in Narsingdi on the occasion of the inauguration of the fertilizer factory and the arrival of the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is coming to Narsingdi after 19 years. District residents are dreaming about the arrival of the Prime Minister. Earlier, he last visited on April 22, 2004. At that time, he attended a public meeting at Narsingdi Stadium as the leader of the opposition party. This time, he is coming as the head of government.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">It was seen around the district town; the entire district is dressed up to welcome the Prime Minister. Banner-festoons have been put up in Narsingdi town, highlighting the progress of various developmental works by the government. Starting from the main road of the city, Oligli is covered in posters. Every road in the city has been renovated, including cleaning the roads. Lighting and beautification work has been done at the intersections of the roads and various structures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">According to a letter from Zakia Sultana, senior secretary of the Ministry of Industry, on October 24, 2018, the government took the initiative to build a high-capacity, energy-saving, environment-friendly, and modern technology-based fertilizer factory. The Ghorashal-Palash-Palashertilizer Project started on March 10, 2020. CC Seven is a Chinese company, and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Limited is a Japanese contractor. The construction work of the two companies was supposed to be completed by December 2023, but it was completed two months earlier. Now the factory is producing experimental fertilizers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The cost of this project, built on 110 acres of land, has been estimated at 15 thousand 500 crores. The annual production capacity of this factory is 9 lakh 24 thousand metric tons. 2 thousand 800 metric tons of urea will be produced every day. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina laid the foundation stone of the project virtually from Ganobhaban on April 21, 2022.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">GM Taleb Hossain, President of the Narsingdi District Awami League, said that it will not be possible to accommodate the people who will gather to see the Prime Minister after a long time at the Muchleh Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium. He said that all kinds of arrangements have been made by the district Awami League to welcome the Prime Minister, and the leaders and activists will welcome him unitedly. The Awami League&#8217;s nominated candidate will win the five constituencies of Narsingdi in the next election.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The Superintendent of Police of Narsingdi, Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman, said that the security measures have been strengthened on the occasion of the Prime Minister&#8217;s arrival. The entire city will be covered under the cover of CCTV. About 7,500 policemen will be deployed for the security of the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">According to the sources of the Ministry of Industry, after the inauguration of the factory, besides meeting the shortage of fertilizers in the country, import dependence will be reduced. Besides, this factory will provide direct and indirect employment to around 30 thousand people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">According to Narsingdi district administration sources, all preparations have been completed on the occasion of the Prime Minister&#8217;s arrival in Narsingdi. Strict police security has been implemented. Besides, members of the BGB, BSF, RAB, and other security forces are active. CCTV has been installed in the entire city of Narsingdi, including the project inauguration site and Narsingdi Musleh Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium public meeting grounds. The Prime Minister will first inaugurate the project. After that, Sudhi will participate in the rally in Palash Upazila.
