On this occasion, a handover ceremony was held on November 7, 2023, at the meeting room of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">On behalf of Bangladesh, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Zahid Malek, MP; Secretary of Health Services, Jahangir Alam; Director General of the Department of Health, Professor Dr. Mohammad Khurshid Alam; and senior officials of the Health Services Department were present on the occasion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh, Yao Wen, and other senior officials of the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka were present on the occasion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Besides, journalists from various electronic and print media were also present on the occasion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Note that the outbreak of dengue disease in Bangladesh has reached a critical level. As a result, hospitals are struggling to provide medical care to dengue patients, and hospitals are in need of more advanced medical equipment and dengue detection kits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">In this situation, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare requested that the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka supply the necessary medical equipment and dengue detection kits to deal with dengue.
