He held a meeting with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The meeting with the Chief Election Commissioner started at 10 a.m. on Tuesday (October 31). US Embassy official Arturo Hines was also present in the meeting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">It is assumed that this meeting was held in view of the next national parliament elections.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Earlier, Ambassador Peter Haas had a meeting with the Chief Election Commissioner on August 1 this year. After the meeting, Kazi Habibul Awal said that a favorable environment is needed for elections. The crisis that prevails is political. Our work has no conflict with it.
