Dhaka Bureau:<\/strong> A 72-hour blockade program has started on the call of the BNP to demand the resignation of the government. In protest against the attack on BNP’s general assembly on October 28, the killing of leaders and activists, the arrest of thousands of leaders and activists of various parties, harassment and torture, including Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, and to seek a one-point demand, from Monday (October 30) to Thursday (November 2) at 12:00 p.m., BNP announced to carry out a total blockade program on roads, railways, and waterways till midnight.

At the same time, Jamaat-e-Islami also announced a 72-hour blockade in line with the program of the BNP and like-minded political parties.<\/p>\n

The high command of the BNP has given various instructions to the party’s grassroots leaders and activists to implement the all-out blockade program. The top leader of BNP gave a video message to the leaders and workers of all levels across the country. At the same time, instructions have been given to the responsible leaders to stay in the field.<\/p>\n
