Rajshahi Correspondent: Miscreants killed two doctors named Ali Ahmed and Ershad Ali Dulal in Rajshahi. These two doctors were killed within a few hours on Sunday (October 29). The Metropolitan Police confirmed their deaths. However, the reason for the murder is not yet known.
Kazem Ali Ahmed is a dermatologist and venereal disease specialist. He used to see patients regularly at Islami Bank Hospital and the Popular Diagnostic Center located in Lakshipur of the city. The other is Ershad Ali Dulal (45). He is the son of Sami of Kishtganj village in Parila union of Paba upazila of Rajshahi. He has a chamber in Kishtganj market. He used to give treatments there.

On the other hand, the body of village doctor Ershad Ali was recovered in a bloody condition on the side of the road in the Cityhat area of the city at around 8 p.m. on Sunday. Police believe that he may have been beaten, hacked, and shot dead.
It is known that around 6:30 p.m., some masked miscreants forcibly took Ershad Ali from his chamber and took him to a microbus. When the locals tried to stop them, they fired several rounds of blank bullets. After the incident, his family kept a general diary at the Chandrima police station. His body was found on the side of the road at night.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Spokesperson and Additional Deputy Police Commissioner Jamirul Islam told the media that legal action is under process regarding the doctor’s murder. He said that the police are working to identify the criminals.
