Dhaka Bureau: Saudi government has shown interest in taking 28 lakh workers from Bangladesh. Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Interior Minister Dr. Nasser bin Abdul Aziz Al Dawood.
He paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Abdul Momen at Rashtriya Guest House Padma.
Later, the foreign minister told the media that Bangladesh has signed two agreements with Saudi Arabia. Saudi government has shown interest in hiring 2.8 million workers from Bangladesh. According to the Road to Makkah Agreement, pilgrims can now get off the plane and go to Makkah Sharif without any immigration harassment for a long time.
The foreign minister also said that another security issue was discussed. There will be an exchange of training between the police of the two countries. Their women policemen will take training from Bangladesh. Women policemen of this country will take training from their country.
