Entertainment Desk: After watching the movie ‘Mujib: Shaper of a Nation’ based on the life of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, famous Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah praised actor Arifin Shubo.
The Bangladesh-India joint production movie is going to be screened in Indian theaters tomorrow, October 27. To mark the occasion, a special screening of the film in both Bengali and Hindi was held at the National Museum of India in Mumbai on Wednesday.
Indian cinema people enjoyed the movie by sitting there with the legendary director Shyam Benegal. Apart from the central actor of the movie, Arifin Shubo, BFDC officials from Bangladesh were also present at this event.
After the screening, Shyam Benegal said, I enjoyed making the movie. It is my honor that the Prime Minister of Bangladesh and Mujib’s daughter liked the movie.
The movie ‘Mujib: Shaper of a Nation’ was released in 153 theaters across the country on Friday (October 13). The movie is getting responses from the day of its release. The movie had 18 shows in seven branches of Star Cineplex, the most modern cinema in the country. Due to audience demand, the show has doubled in size. Then the hall number also increases.
In the movie ‘Mujeeb’, National Film Award-winning cinematographer Arifin Shubo played the role of Bangabandhu, actress Nusrat Faria played the role of Sheikh Hasina, and Nusrat Imroz Tisha played the role of Bangabandhu’s wife, Sheikh Fazilatunneshar Barabela.
