Entertainment Desk: Palestinian singer Dalal Abu Amneh lives in the Nazareth area of Israel. He was recently arrested by the police due to a post on social media. Amneh was granted bail on October 18 after spending two days in jail. He has been under house arrest at his residence since bail. Amneh has given a new message on social media about the state of house arrest.
The Instagram message revealed his unchanged position and his strong morale. According to a report by The National on Sunday, the Palestinian singer posted a picture with two children on Instagram. And wrote, ‘I am now free after spending two nights in solitary confinement unjustly on false accusations.’
He also wrote, ‘My body, which was weakened by three days of fasting, is now very strong. My faith in God has deepened. Faith in my message and work increased tenfold. They tried to take away my humanity, silenced my voice, and humiliated me in every way.’
Amneh claimed that being humiliated and handcuffed by Israeli forces made him prouder and more dignified.
Amneh, a singer of Palestinian origin, holds Israeli citizenship. This popular singer has about three and a half lakh followers on Instagram.
When the Hamas-Israel conflict started recently, he wrote on Instagram using the Palestinian flag emoji, ‘There is no winner except the creator.’
In this situation, Amnehar’s post was not taken lightly by the Israeli authorities. They charged the singer with ‘hate speech and incitement’ and arrested her. Amneh has to stay inside the house even though he is freed from prison.
