The Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wants to facilitate higher education for the marginalized people of the Trinamool stage through the nationalization of educational institutions. Along with that, he wanted to improve the quality of life of the teachers and employees working in the institution. Because better education is not possible without improving the quality of life of teachers, However, some teachers and employees are being deprived of the benefits of nationalization due to various rules.
For those of us who have worked in other organizations for 10/15/20 years and joined the new organization on the basis of that experience, the work experience of our previous organization is not included. There are many of us who joined newly nationalized schools or colleges as head teachers or principals after 15 or 20 years of service in other institutions. Not only that, he is fulfilling all the responsibilities of nationalization. But they are being deprived of the benefits of nationalization.
Excluding the previous experience of those who have become assistant professors, vice principals, principals, government headmasters, and headmasters based on their experience in previous institutions will also reduce their eligibility for the current post. To fulfill the eligibility criteria to become a Pravan teacher or principal, he needs at least 15 or 16 years of experience. However, there are many principals and head teachers whose tenure of service will not be completed for even 5–6 years if the experience of the previous institution is excluded. They will be deprived of financial benefits.
I request that the concerned authorities kindly consider the matter. Besides, those who are teachers, principals, assistant principals, principals, or vice principals who have been changed in such institutions are requested to come to the same platform and be united to raise their voices. As there is going to be a new revised rule called the 2023 rule, we have to try our best to reach the right authorities with our reasonable demands before the rule is finalized. Claims through litigation will be more time-consuming if not covered by the new rules.
