Awami League presidium member Shahjahan Khan said, “BNP leaders have called Peter Haas an avatar.” They have no faith in the people. We believe in people. The country became independent by believing. Have faith in the people; the people will bring Sheikh Hasina back to power.’
Awami League presidium member Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya said, ‘Today we are celebrating Sheikh Russell’s birthday; today our pledge is to resist those who killed Sheikh Russell. They will take to the streets. We will also get off. I will give such a ladder; I will throw it in Buriganga.’
