Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Two Rohingya, including an Arsa commander, were killed in separate firings between Arsa and RSO in Ukhia Rohingya camp in Cox’s Bazar.
The incident happened early on Monday (October 9). Ukhia police officer-in-charge, Sheikh Mohammad Ali, confirmed the matter.
It is known that the terrorists shot Mahmudul Haque on the stairs of the house in Block 7 of Camp-2 East at 4 a.m. and fled. The deceased Sanaullah (27) is a resident of B/2 Block of Camp 7.
On the other hand, another person was shot dead in front of Ali Johar’s tea shop in Block A/4 of Rohingya Camp-5 at 3 p.m. The deceased Ahmed Hossain (36) is the son of Abdul Ghafoor of A/38 Block of Camp 7.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ukhia Police Station Sheikh Mohammad Ali said that separate clashes and shootings took place between Myanmar’s Rohingya terrorist organization Arsa and an anti-Arsa group in Kutupalong 2 East and No. 5 Rohingya camps of Ukhia Upazila on Monday morning. He also said that the deceased Sanaullah was the top terrorist of Arsa in Kutupalong camp. He is involved in many murder incidents, including the Abul Kalam Majhi murder, the Taher Majhi murder, and the Amin Majhi assassination attempt in Camp II East. The deceased were sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for a condition report. Soon after the incident, the APBN police patrol intensified in the camp, and operations are underway to arrest those involved in the incident. The overall situation in the camp is normal.
