Entertainment Desk: Bangladeshi actress Ajmeri Haque Bandhan made her debut in Bollywood. His first Hindi movie, ‘Khufia’, is releasing today on the OTT platform Netflix.
The film is produced by ‘Omkara’ and ‘Hayder’ famed directors Vishal Bharadwaj. Bandhan has shared the screen with famous Bollywood stars like Tabu, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Ali Fazal.
Bandhan played the role of a Bangladeshi in the movie. A very small character. In this context, the actress commented, ‘I have played a very small character. The details will be known only after the release of the movie. Don’t say anything about it now. But let’s say this: I played the role of a Bangladeshi girl in ‘Khufia’. That’s why they found and hired actresses from Bangladesh.
Earlier, the trailer for this movie was released last month. Bandhan is seen multiple times in the 2-minute, 39-second-long trailer. His look has caught the attention of fans.
‘Khufia’ is inspired by true events and based on Amar Bhushan’s popular spy novel ‘Escape to Nowhere’.
In an interview, director Vishal Bharadwaj said that this is a sophisticated action-spy thriller film. There have not been many thriller films of this quality in Indian cinema.
