Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Two people were killed in a clash between the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) and the Rohingya Solidarity Organization (RSO) at the Rohingya camp in Ukhia, Cox’s Bazar police said.

These incidents took place on Tuesday (October 3) night and Wednesday (October 4) morning.

Confirming the matter, the captain of the 14th Armed Police Battalion (APBN), Mohammad Iqbal, said that the two groups clashed due to dominance. A person named Yusuf, alias Chakmaya Yusuf, was killed there. He is a resident of the Camp-9 area. There are three murder cases against him.

An unnamed Rohingya camp sub-master said that there was a clash between Arsa and RSO in the Camp-8W area on Tuesday night. The top commander of the Arsar Killing Group, Chakmaya Yusuf, was shot dead by RSO firing. He was later killed.

Meanwhile, due to the incident, ARSA members attacked the RSO at Camp No. 15 early on Wednesday (October 4). At that time, Arakan Arsa members stabbed and killed a member of the RSO named Arafat.

This fact was confirmed by the captain of the 8th Armed Police Battalion (APBN), Amir Zafar.

Rohingyas living in the camp said that Chakmaya Yusuf Arsar is the top commander of the killing squad. He had been staying in Myanmar for a long time. Recently, Arsa became weak due to the anti-Arsa operation of the law and order forces and the deaths of one member after another by the RSO. As a result, the Arsa chief recently sent Chakmaya Yusuf to the Rohingya camp to carry out a killing mission in the camp.
