Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home after a 16-day official visit to the United States and the United Kingdom. A commercial Bangladesh Airlines flight (BG-208) carrying the Prime Minister’s entourage arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal Airport on Wednesday (October 4) at 12:16 PM Bangladesh time.
Prime Minister Deputy Press Secretary Hasan Zahid Tushar confirmed this information to the media.
Earlier, the Prime Minister left London’s Heathrow Airport at 9:10 p.m. local time (London time) on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister arrived in the UK capital, London, from Washington, DC, on September 30 on a British Airways flight.
In London from September 30 to October 3, Sheikh Hasina attended a reception on behalf of Bangladeshis and several dignitaries, including a delegation from the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) led by Rushnara Ali MP, President of APPG on Bangladesh and Rohingya, and the UK Shadow Minister for Investment and Small Business. During his stay in New York, the Prime Minister attended various events, including the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) from September 17–22 and other high-level and bilateral meetings on the sidelines.
In Washington, DC, from September 23 to 29, Sheikh Hasina attended a reception for Bangladeshi expatriates in the United States and visited the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington, DC.
