The musical film based on the song’s story is produced by Shahriar Palak and his production house, Theater Music Factory. Amirul Momenin Manik composed the words and music. The song was released on a YouTube channel named ‘Manik Music’.
Regarding the song, Nachiketa Chakraborty said that alienation has become a disease nowadays. Countless happy and beautiful families have been and are being destroyed by this decadence.
Nachiketa also said, “I think breaking up a family in alienation and killing all the members of a family are equal crimes.” Manik and I sang ‘Neel Parakiya’ together to create awareness against this terrible alienation. The video was made keeping in mind the heart-touching story. Hopefully, the ‘blue alienation’ will spread and thereby create a social movement against alienation.

Nachiketa and Manik have collaborated on several songs before. In 2014, when the song titled ‘Ai Bhor’ was released in the voice of two people, it got a huge response in Bengali. After that, Manik composed two more songs titled ‘College Life’ and ‘Tumi Ko Partir Lok’ with lyrics and tunes by Nachiketa.
Besides singing, Amirul Momenin Manik works in literature and journalism. 21 books have already been published. His best-selling book is called ‘Some Stupid University Teachers’. Manik received the UNESCO Club Journalism Award in Journalism. He founded ChangeTV Press, introducing the first concept of YouTube journalism.
