Dhaka Bureau: The new prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at the consumer level have been fixed for the current month. The price of an LPG cylinder of 12 kg has been increased by 79 taka to 1 thousand 363 taka. Its price was earlier 1 thousand 284 taka.
The regulatory body, the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC), announced the new price on Monday (October 2) at noon. The new price will be effective this evening.
According to BERC, private LPG retailer points have adjusted the consumer level price by 113 taka, or 61 paise per kg, inclusive of tax. Besides, the price of private LPG supplied in liquid state in the reticulated system has been adjusted by 109 taka 79 paisa per kg, including musoak. At the consumer level, the price of autogas has been revised to 62 taka, 54 paisa per liter, including VAT.
