He said that the Prime Minister will lead the Bangladesh delegation in the UN General Assembly session. It is reported that world leaders gathered in New York with the theme ‘Rebuilding Trust and Reigniting Global Solidarity: Accelerating Action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals Towards Peace, Prosperity, Progress, and Sustainability for All’ at the opening ceremony of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA78). will be The foreign minister said the first day of the high-level general debate will be held on September 19. Like other years, the Prime Minister will address Bangladesh in the general debate on September 22. In his address, he will highlight Bangladesh’s development progress, inclusive economic development, and success in the health sector. Besides, world peace, security, safe immigration, the civil crisis in forcibly displaced Myanmar, and the establishment of climate justice will come up in his speech. Besides, like every year, this year too there are likely to be several high-level meetings and debates during the general debate phase.
